The Princess and the Pauper is a 2009 American 3D computer-animated fantasy comedy-drama film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and ClearWorld Entertainment, animated by CreativeNext Animation, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Set in 1547, the story follows a young pauper girl named Maria, who meets Princess Jenna, who is identical to her. They then exchange identities and lives while the villainous Captain of the Guard plots to take advantage of this.
The Princess and the Pauper was the first Warner Bros. animated film to be presented in 3D. The film was first released in North America on September 4, 2009.

The film was originally slated for release on December 11, 2009, but was pushed back to September 3, 2009 to avoid competition with Disney's The Princess and the Frog. The film's theatrical release was accompanied by the hand-drawn animated short film Fox in Socks, based on the book of the same name by Dr. Seuss.

- The film's teaser trailer was released on November 14, 2008, and was shown before Puppies in the Box, Bolt, The Tale of Despereaux, Hotel for Dogs, Coraline, The Pink Panther 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, Goth & Young 2, and Rose is Rose.
- The theatrical trailer was released on May 22, 2009, and was shown before Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Up, Imagine That, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, G-Force, Virtual Journey, and Aliens in the Attic.
- TV spots began to air between August and September 2009.
