Metro Blaze 3: The Mystery to New York is a 2011 American computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by Sony Pictures Animation, Amblin Animation and Sonia Landry Studios, and released by Columbia Pictures. It is the third installment in the Metro Cone franchise and is the sequel to the 2008 film Metro Blaze 2, with director Jenny Shepard, producer Sonia Landry, and writer John Landis returning for the film. Seann William Scott, Kristen Schaal, John Goodman, Mila Kunis, Zooey Deschanel, Taraji P. Henson, Jessica Alba, Eric Idle, and Tom Kenny reprise their previous roles alongside Mariah Carey, Nick Nolte, Ice-T, Zac Efron, and Matthew Broderick voicing new characters. In the film, Metro Blaze and his friends decide to go on a vacation to New York City to meet Vera's parents for the first time, but only to be unaware that there is a sinister plot occurring at New York they could stop. It is the first Amblin Animation film to be co-produced by Sony Pictures Animation, which was not involved with first two films, as well as the first Amblin Animation computer-animated film to be animated by Sony Pictures Imageworks rather than Blur Studio, after they ended its partnership with Amblin in 2010.

The film was released on September 23, 2011 in RealD 3D and select IMAX theaters, making it the first Metro Blaze film to be in 3D. Metro Blaze 3 received mixed reviews but was nonetheless a box office success grossing over $459 million worldwide against a $99 million budget. A sequel, titled Metro Blaze Forever, was released on November 21, 2014.
