Erica Annora Miller (born September 1, 1961) is an American cartoonist, illustrator, voice actor, animator, director, producer, and writer best known for the franchises Tyler & Marky, Zany & Crazy, Zachary Kicklighter, Dreamteam, Forces Squad, Retro, and Twisted Spell. She is also the founder of her own production company, Classic Ink Productions.
Early life[]
Erica Miller was born on September 1, 1961, the eldest of 7 children to Robert "Bob" Miller I (July 5, 1925 – September 8, 1996) and Cindy Miller (McKinley) (April 9, 1932 – January 2, 2020), and was introduced to animation through many studios (Disney specifically), by her uncle Ronald (May 17, 1924 – March 23, 2001).
Career[]
After graduating from college making short films, Miller joined Walt Disney Productions in 1982, first as freelance, then becoming a full-time animator in 1984. Among the contributions was the creation of many TV shows, as well as animator for three films The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective and Dreamer.
Miller left Walt Disney Feature Animation after the release of The Great Mouse Detective, and later joined Disney's television division, Walt Disney Television Animation.
